Synergy Systems as an ASP (Application Service
Provider), has become synonymous with providing consulting and
creative solutions for all stakeholders within the retail industry,
and their newest innovation is no exception.
Synergy announced the unveiling of the "Synergy
Device" that provides all retail industry stakeholders the ability
to access the "Synergy Collaborative Platform" via a very low cost ,
subscription or use based fee. This solution saves
Manufacturers,
Distributors and other Service Organizations the exorbitant cost of
hand held devices currently in
use today.
This new addition to the Synergy suite of tools
was unveiled at the 2008
NARMS International
Conference held this year at the "Williamsburg
Lodge" hotel and conference center located in Williamsburg,
Virginia on April 12-14. Synergy Systems, with the help of NEC
Corporation of America announced this new innovation to a very receptive audience
of attendees including members of the CPG, Retail, and MSO
industries.
The User Experience:
Synergy provided the opportunity for attendees to experience the
speed of service check-in, check-out and survey data verification
processes on several prototypes available
within
their booth. With informative staff on hand to educate booth
visitors on the advantages of this new device coupled with the suite
of web based tools Synergy offers it's subscribers.
Retailers Are Excited:
Of the initial 15 food retail chains consulted,
the feedback has been extremely positive and receptive to this
concept. The retailers understand that the "Synergy Platform" and
"Synergy Device" will streamline traffic through their receiving
areas and provide a means to communicate issues with their partners
faster and far more efficiently then ever, allowing their staff to
be more productive.
Retailers also identified that while many
service providers in the industry have their own unique applications
to address some of these issues, this very fact prevents a truly
unified condition to exist.

Hardware & Technology Development:
Synergy worked with NEC Corporation of America to develop the Synergy Device and
has received tremendous input from NEC in the form of device
engineering, deployment planning and support.
